Will Benson scored a three-run domestic runs and Brady Singer played five solid innings as host Cincinnati Reds defeated Cleveland Guardians 5–4 on Friday.
The singer (5–2) threw 90 pitches and allowed three earned runs, three walks and a home run. He hit four.
Emilio Pagan started an ideal ninth innings for his 10th Save.
The Guardian Starter Tanner Bibe (3-4) gave 10 hits in six innings, scoring five runs (four earned) and two domestic runs. He went one and hit four. Bo Nayler and Jose Ramirez prepared for Cleveland.
Reds opened the scoring in the second when both Gavin Lux and Spencer Stear joined the first pitches, which they saw, Lux for a single and sterers for a double. After Tyler Stephenson left, Banson sent 1-2 sweeper in the right field bleachers for the Reds lead.
Matt McLin placed the innings with a single to center. The Santiago Aspinal hit an informed single to shortstop, which was thrown by Gabriel Ariaas in the dugout, allowing McClen to score for a 4–0 raid lead.
Austin Hayes made it 5–0 in the third with the leadoff home run.

After Haze’s home run, Lux doubled and went third on the groundout by Stear. Stephenson hit a long fly ball to the right, which was caught by Brainon as Lux. Brainon thrown a correct for the plate to get lux for double play.
When Steven Quan went away, the parents started coming to fourth place. Along with two outsiders, Kyle Manjardo doubled the runners in second and third place with two outs. Carlos Santana then cut the Reds lead 5–2 with a single to center.
Niler made it 5-3 when he hit his sixth home run to move beyond the fifth.
Ramirez extended his hitting streak into 10 games, when he participated in the right ground in the eighth. It was his ninth of the year and was ranked 13th from Reds in his career. He also in bats also in 42 RBI against Reds in 187 career.
