Hyden turns to Birdsong in veteran vs. Royals

The San Francisco giants will make the first twist of the season in their rotation on Tuesday night, when they will send the right -handed Hayden Birdsong against the visit of Kansas City Royals.
Royals on Monday won seven shutouts from San Francisco Bay Area Product Chris Bubik in a 3–1 win in a three-game series opener.
The loss was the first of the veterans since Jordan Hicks started the Erizona Diamondback vs 8-7 defeat last Wednesday. The era of hicks increased to 6.55 in loss.
Hix maintained its place in rotation through its first four necklaces, but the manager of the veterans Bob Melvin announced in the weekend that Birdsong (1-0, 2.31 ERA) would get the ball on Tuesday.
The 23 -year -old Birdsong has given relief 11 times this season, although coincidentally the same Arizona game had the worst outing of the year, which scored three runs in three innings. He had allowed only three earned runs in his first 10 performances.
Melvin said about Birdsong’s sub -outings, “We look at the performance, and Hayden is not getting regular work that she was in the first season when she was not going until the beginning,” Melvin said about Birdsong’s outing. “So there were some different reasons for (change).”
Birdsong never faced Royals in all 16 outings as a cheater in the previous season.
Another team that launched a long race with the same five-man rotation is expected to compete with partner right-handed Michael Lorenzen (3-4, 3.76 ERA). After Michael Covenant and Bubik, he will become the third royal to start the 10th in this season.
Native of Southern California never defeated veterans in his career, 0–1 with 7.11 ERA in 10 games (four beginnings).
The Royals finally ended in the 31st game of the team’s season during the five beginnings, when Seth Lugo moved to the 15-day injured list and was replaced by Noah Cameron.
Now it is going to happen again, the coal ragans joined Lugo on IL and scratched it from the scheduled beginning of Wednesday. Census City has not announced the starter for that game, but promoted Jonathan Baulan from Triple-A to join the club in San Francisco.
Balon was available out of Bulpen – but did not pitch on Monday – and possibly on Tuesdays available on Tuesday. The right -handed batsman, who played two scorer innings in relief against Houston Astro in April, which would also be a candidate to start a Wednesday’s game as an opener, before being demoted.
“This is a very exciting opportunity,” assured the pre-second-round draft pick, who have performed a major league without a win. “Whenever they call my name, I am to get ready here.”
This season, pitching has been an ideal for both veterans and Royals and was definitely again on Monday night, when Robbie Ray and Bubik threw seven shutouts. Bubik gave only two hits and six six.
Birdsong will try to continue a major stretch for veterans, in which Logan Web, Landen Rup, Justin Verlander and Ray have allowed just three runs on 25 hits in 25 hits as San Francisco has won three of their last four matches.
Meanwhile, Cameron, Covenant and Bubik have scored just two runs on 12 hits in 18 1/3 innings in the last three competitions of Royals, including two consecutive wins entering Tuesday’s competition.
