Duke’s Cooper Flag announces for NBA Draft

Wooden Award winner and Duke Freshman Cooper Flag declared for 2025 NBA draft.
It is an estimated number 1 overall pick in the 25 June draft in New York. Flag announced in a post on Instagram.
“It was an incredible year, perhaps the best year of my life,” Flag said in a video. “I have a lot of gratitude. I think it feels very blessed for all those opportunities that were given to me. Duke has always been a dream for me, but I am excited to declare that I will enter my name in the 2025 NBA draft. Today, I start, but I have brotherhood for life.”
Flag also became just fourth freshman to win the Namith Trophy, with the involvement of Texas Kevin Durant (2007), Kentaki’s Anthony Davis (2012) and Duke’s Sion Williamson (2019).
The 6 -Foot -9 forward obtained 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 in 37 games, which took Blue Devils to the last four. He was also named ACC Player of the Year.
Flag Fellow Freshman and Duke team partner concellers who declared for the draft last week. He has introduced a lottery pick by ESPN.
