After making the bowlers grass, Phil Salat-track RCB’s IPL 2025 admissions to the finals

56 out of 56, an unbeaten 56 of Phil Salat off 27 balls, chased 102 in 102 overs by Royal Challengers Bangalore to reach the final of IPL 2025.

All Punjab Kings were scoring 101 runs on the board in IPL qualifiers 1. He needed to repeat the same bowling form against Kolkata Knight Riders at the same place, defending 111 runs. But Phil Salat had other views. The English opener, whose availability in the playoffs was uncertain due to his child’s birth, blown PBK bowling PBK with fastest half-century off 23 balls of Fast-Trac Royal Challengers Bangalore for the entry of Bangalore in the IPL 2025 final. The salt at 56 remained unbeaten at 56 as RCB chased the target in just 10 overs.

While Phil Salat had moments of his intimidation against Azmatullah Omrajai and Kyle Jaimison, they kept them to rest. Every time he was tested by a bowler, salt hit him back with a brutal power. His first border came out of a top edge against Arshdeep Singh. But he returned with six with a magnificent bridge shot. Again, Omarjai defeated salt in the 5th over, only to hit back to the next delivery for the British. He was then attacked as Jamison in the last over of Powerplay. He took New Zosender for 4, 4, and 6 to take RCB cruzing.

“Looks great now, the ball moved a little further. I think it was not the worst wicket to play this season. Salt said after the match.

Phil salt in IPL 2025

After falling for 4 and 1 against the Punjab kings, the last two meetings were under pressure on Phil Salt. His record against Arshdeep Singh was also not very good, the ODI and T20 IP and 50 delivery in IPL were rejected five times with the left hand twice. In the last two matches against Punjab Kings, Arshdeep improved him. But on Wednesday, he hit her for one four and one six and looked comfortable.

“The idea was not to get out of Arshadeep, we played two groups and found different ways to take me out. Therefore, I was just trying to react to the ball,” After the match, Phil Salat said.

His role in IPL 2025 has been such. He is holding the fort at the other end with Virat Kohli. Already with 387 runs in 12 matches, Phil Salat now has a chance to improve his record in IPL. Last season, Salt scored 435 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders in 12 matches. This will be Salt’s second serial IPL final.
