Paige Bueckers, Wings Dump Valkyries, End Skid

Ruki Guard Paigi Beukers scored 20 points with their college coach, as Dallas Wings snatched the seven-game losing streak, and defeated Golden State Volcaries in Arlington, Texas on 80-71 on Tuesday.

Late game was protected for working for Wings (2–11), who won for the first time in six domestic sports this year. Eric Ogunbole of Dallas posted 19 points, and Kaila Charles added 10 points to the bench.

The 18 points of Monic Billings and 17 points from Kayla Thorrton led the Golden State (5-6), with the end of the three-game winning streak. Reserve Lichelia Amihere and Tiffany Hayes added 14 and 10 points respectively.

Golden State shot 40.7 percent from the floor and went on a free throw 16 -for -23. Wings were good on 15 out of 19 free throw.

Dallas overcated 39.2-percent shooting from the floor, including 7-for-27 Marks (25.9 percent) from the 3-point range. Nalisa Smith grabbed a game-hai 10 rebound to help the wings compile a 39–28 lead over the glass.

The WNBA draft of this spring from the National Champion Connecticut, Bueckers, was in the number 1 overall pick, his college coach, Geno Oor, in appearance. Bukers shot 9-for-18 from the ground, but missed all their 3-point attempts.

The last three quarters were several back-end-forth stretches, before the billings left the 3-pionment with 4:56 in 70-All. This was the final Golden State Field goal of the game.

Jumper of Bueckers and 3-Poles of Ogunbowale made it 75–70 as the Golden State went through a drought of over four minutes.

Missed shots, including a pair of off-the-mark free throw from billings, and turns contributed to the aggressive malfunction of the vulcaries under the stretch.

Dallas did not overcome because it went for more than two minutes without scoring a point, until the Myisha Hines-alan gave a dishonest shot with 1:21.

Veronica Burton moved 1-for-2 on the free-thro line for Vulkiris with 31.1 seconds, before the beukers sank two free throw on the 19.4-second mark for the 78–71 lead.

Wings led 23–16 after the first quarter, with the beukers eight points.

Center Li Euru, in his first game with wings after weekend from Seattle, had two points in 13 minutes from the bench, two rebounds and two assistance.
