ATP Roundup: Alexander Zaverev Stuttgart reaches quarter -finals

Top seeded home favorite Alexander Zeverev went to the boss open quarter-finals with a 6–2, 7-6 (7) win at the German Stutgart on Thursday.
Zverev rescued a set point 6-5 in the tiebreak before facing number 6 seed Brandon Nakashima, who never faced a break point in 7-6 (5), felling 6-3 defeats of fellow American learner TN.
Zverev countrymen, 17-year-old Justin Engel won 6-4 in the final eight, 6-4 with 6-4 win with number 7 Seed Alex Michalson. Angel, competing at his first tour-level event on Grass, will face fourth seed Canadian Felix Agar-Agar-Agar-Agar-Aliasim next time. The finalist of the two-time Stattgart defeated France’s Giovano MPETshi Perricard 6-4, 6-4.

Russia’s No. 1 Seed Daniel Medvedev entered the quarter-finals with 7-6 (6), 6-4 with 7-6 (6), 6-4 with French Adrian Mannarino.
Medvedev saved two set points in the first set’s tiebreak and 6-3 winners against Chile’s Nicholas Zari fell 4-3 in the second set before moving forward to face 6-3 winners, Reilly Opelka, 7-6 (5), 6-3 winners.
France’s No. 2 Seed Ugo Hambert defeated Britain’s Daniel Evans 7–5, 6-3, but the other top seeds were not lucky. Zizau Bergs of Belgium won Australia’s number 4 Alexei popirin 6-7 (3), 6-2, 7-6 (3) and Estonian qualifier Mark Lazal in a walkover against Poland’s No. 5 Hubbert Hurcack, which is dealing with back injury.
