The Census City Royals placed the left-handed coal ragans with a left rotator cuff on Wednesday in the 15-day injured list.
The move is retrospective to the ragan on Sunday, which was last picked on 5 June when he allowed five runs in three innings in St. Louis, which returned from a waist injury in his first beginning.
The 27-year-old Ragan is 2-3 with 5.18 ERAs through 10 this season. He was an all-star with Royals in 2024, with 186 ERAs 11–9 and 186 1/3 with 223 strikeouts in innings.
Census City also restored the right-handed Reliever Lucas Eireg from the injured list, recalled the right-handed Jonathan Baulan from Triple-e Omaha and nominated the right-handed trevor Richards for assignment.
