Yankees’ Giancarlo Stanton started rehabilitation assignment

Yankis Slugger Giancarlo Stanton will start a rehabilitation assignment at the Double-e-Summerset on Tuesday, giving him a step around his 2025 start to New York.
Five-time all-stars and former National League MVP have been sidelined all seasons with both elbow injuries.
Yankis manager Aaron Boon confirmed last week that 35 -year -old Stanton was progressing.
“He is probably leading here, but I don’t know the next step if it’s a rehabilitation assignment or what is,” Bune said last Thursday.
Stanton moved to the 10-day injured list at the end of March and was transferred due to right and left elbow epicondylitis in 60-day IL in May, an issue that resumed before spring training in the previous season.
Playing exclusively on the hitter specified in the previous season, Stanton batted with 27 domestic runs and 72 RBI in 114 sports. In seven sessions with Yennakis, he belts 162 homeers and operated in 431 runs.
Calf, hamstrings, axis and elbow issues are on a road for the availability of Stanton. He has an average of just 94.7 games per season since joining New York, playing more than 115 games only twice – recently in 2021 when he played 139 games.
