How to use Bumrah in India-England tests? Akash chopra answer

Jasprit Bumrah is much larger than a player for India to lose due to an injury.

India’s five-observance series in England will begin on June 20 in Headingly, marking the beginning of a new era. With no Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, a young captain, a changing batting core, and a rapid coalition Spearhead will be managed with extreme caution in this series.

Jasprit Bumrah, back from recent injury, is unlikely to play all five matches, and Akash Chopra believes that his appearance should be chosen strategically.

When does India want Jasprit Bumrah?

Chief selector Ajit Aggarkar has confirmed that Bumrah will not play back-to-back matches due to workload concerns. During India’s final test against Australia in January, Pesar faced a reaction to the back and missed the Champions Trophy. He returned to action for Mumbai Indians in IPL, but his use of Test matches is an important thing.

Speaking on Gehotstar, former opener Akash Chopra said, “This would make him get attracted to play in difficult situations – because in difficult situations, you want your best player. You want Kohli in a crunch chase; Similarly, you want Bumrah under the bowler -friendly conditions. ,

He said, “The oval and Birmingham will be difficult. The pitches are flattery, and you will need very experienced bowlers. How Bumrah’s body is responding, this call will come down. But if it was above me, I will play it where situations are the most difficult – because it is the place where it gives you the biggest edge,

India would be without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, both retired from Test cricket last month. Leading a young side with Shubman Gill now, Chopra feels that expectations need to be re -obtained.

,Expectations will make the challenge difficult. But with a new team, there is some cushioning. People believe that it is a team of youth, and with it a long rope comes, “He said.” The pressure is still – but it is different from the face of an experienced team from pressure, where the only hope is to win. ,
