Journalism won the 150th run of Prekness Stakes on Saturday at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore at Stunning Fashion, grabbed Longshot Goser just before the wire and recovered from a collision below the stretch.
Rider by Umberto Rispoli, journalism broke well from the second gate and closed the speed that was again set by the clever. The 3 -year -old Bachera raced a similar race, as he did two weeks ago in the pack of the pack to drop the stretch down. This time journalism and Rispoli, who finished second in Louisville, had enough in the tank to take lead in final progress.
Earlier, however, journalism was coming sixth from the last twist and was pinned to the rail. Rispoli put him again between the target -oriented and clever – and the three horses collided.
