To start managerial for St. Louis City against David Crichale San Jose

David Crichley will become the third separate manager of St. Louis City over a period of 11 months when he will take the sideline on Saturday afternoon against the Sain Jose Earthquake visit.

Krichle took over for Olof Melburg, who was fired on Tuesday after just 15 matches. Melburg replaced John Hakworth, which went from 1 July, 2024 to 7-7-4 to the end of the previous season.

St. Louis (2-8-5, 11 points) is ranked 14th out of 15 teams at the Western Conference and scored with Austin FC for the lowest in MLS, scoring just 11 goals. The team has demolished their last three matches, including the loss of road 1–0 to Colorado Rapids last Saturday.

“As a club, we need to meet certain standards and believe that a coaching change was necessary to improve the overall performance and return to a winning culture,” said St. Louis Sporting Director Lutz Pafnestale. “Our fans deserve a better performing team, and we intend to give them one.”

Critchley City2, MLS was managing the entry of the club in the next Pro, and compiled a record of 6-4–1.

The first match of Kichle as an interim head coach comes in seventh place against San Jose (6-6-4, 22 points), which is unbeaten in all the competitions in all the competitions (5–0-3). Earthquakes are trained by Bruce Arena, who won a record for their 269th regular season, MLS coaches, with 1–0 win over La Galaxy in Carson, California on Wednesday night.
