Rajasthan Royals (RR) 14-year-old teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi interacted with Punjab Kings (PBK) co-owner Preeti Zinta after his IPL 2025 match in Jaipur. PBKS qualified for the playoffs on Sunday, when they defeated RR and Gujarat Titans (GT) and defeated Delhi capitals by 10 wickets. Table-toppers GT’s victory in the second match on Sunday allowed three teams, with permission to enter IPL 2025 playoffs including Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). After the match against PBK, RR shared a video on social media, where Suryavanshi can be seen chatting with Zinta.

“Flex level in school: Vaibhav Sorivanshi,” RR captioned the video.

“Nice to meet you,” Zinta can be heard saying this to Suryavanshi before stepping into one side.

The video started with Zinta in which PBKS ‘Shashank Singh and RR opener Yashasvi Jaywal had a conversation. “Let’s call him Hi,” Zinta can be heard telling Shashank and Jaiswal about the desire to meet the teenager.

PBK qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2014. After the match, head coach Ricky Ponting addressed the players in the dressing room appreciating their flexibility.

In his address, Ponting insisted on how the players have adopted a simple effective approach since the beginning of the tournament, playing their natural game despite the situation. Expressing his happiness with the batting unit, who put 219/5 on the board for Chase for RR, Ponting specially praised Wadera for his brilliant performance, scoring 70 runs off just 37 balls last night.

“What you did was managed to put pressure on them directly. You have to do this in this format, okay? You had a great partnership with Shreyas. I actually told him in a timeout because you are so good, you can find a way to score, you can get out of there in a partnership, and you are putting at 67 on 44 balls,” said Potting.

“Shashank, again terrible. Every time you face something in the tournament, you have found a way to complete it,” he said praising the batsman for an unbeaten knock of 59 runs.
