NFL’s Tush Push Bain solves a problem that never existed

It seems incredibly soft to ban Tush push.

The play, famous by Philadelphia Eagles, naturally had nothing illegally. But during the owners’ meetings on Wednesday, the issue of NFL teams has been declared by a majority by a vote.

Sure, Tush Push is a small gimmick. There is no debate there. It has certainly reached the point where you groan audible when you see the lining to try them. But it is not that Eagles have found a flaw in the rules. It is practically a luxurious quarterback secret that he has executed for perfection in the last handful of seasons.

Sure, there is also a risk of an injury with Tush push. You are practically taking full body of quarterbacks and mashing your head from behind in a vicious pile of aggressive and defensive linemen in trenches. But let’s do not work like Jalen Harts, there is not a large or athletic enough quarterback, which is to choose these first downs on their old -fashioned way on their feet. He squats 600 pounds. He can take sticks even without shaking the players from behind.

Traditionally, we do not see that the NFL rules change in such a way until there is a serious risk of injury. We have not seen hurt with Tush Push, as the hearts remain healthy despite the alleged risk of playing. It is not that it is just pain, either.

Eagles NFL was the best team in quarterback snacks, with Carson Wentz with the Center. They have always been an organization that is aggressive in short-yards situations and simply because they occurred to find a way to execute those for perfection.

Not to mention, this debate became even more fun when Jason retired. The future Hall of Fame Center was considered a backbone behind the success of Tush Push. When he retired, many people thought that Eagles’ head coach Nick Sirianni would not be able to exploit the play call as he had done before. No. Cam Jargens took a torch and did not look back.

Oh yes, being that Saquon Barkley man in the backfield also helps in things.

Since Eagles popularized the play in 2022, the success rate has really become thin. It was 90 percent effective in 2022 when it was rolled out. In 2024, it was 82.4 percent effective. It is still bizarre to think that a fancy quarterback Sneake may succeed eight times out of 10, but Eagles has mastered that play, and opposing teams have fought to innovate in a way to defend it.

Eagles are super bowled champions. But he does not win just super bowls due to this one drama. Of course, they have the best backfield in football, in which Herts and Barkle are able to play on their feet. But let’s not forget about AJ Brown and Heisman winner Devonta Smith. And that defense is the real deal.

If this rule is illegal, Phili’s fans will have the right to urinate.
