South Africa won a crushing win over Zimbabwe on the third day of the second day and 236 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulwayo on Tuesday. Despite the fielding, which was effectively a second-string side, visitors maintained complete control throughout the match, winning a 2–0 series. The hosts resumed at 51 for one, showing symptoms of resistance in the morning session. Nick Welch scored 55 runs and Captain Craig Erwin contributed 49, after the early dismissal of Batter Takudzwanasha Kattano, who added 40. But the fight did not last long. After lunch, Zimbabwe faced a dramatic collapse. Fast bowler Corbin Bosch (4/38) and Kodi Yusuf (2/38), with left-arm spinner Senuran Muthusmy (3/77), triggers a slide, with six wickets falling for just 31 runs. The late 36 -run stand delayed unavoidable for the final wicket between Wellington Masakadza and Tanaka Chivanga, as Zimbabwe was excluded for 220 in their second innings. Stand-in Captain Vian Malder led the front with a record-breaking 367-a South African’s highest test score-score-his team inspired his team for a huge 626 for the five declared in their first innings. The result marked South Africa’s 10th consecutive test win, crossing its previous best streak from 2001 to 2003. Mulder and wicketkeeper Kyle Verrane were the only XI player to win the World Test Championship final against Australia in the last month of Lord.

Zimbabwe was interrupted by the absence of prominent batsmen, who was handled in the first trial, and Ben Curan exited due to the broken hand. South Africa introduced five debutants in the series but remained prominent. Both sides will now face Harare on Monday, as New Zealand involves them for the T20i tri -series.
