Yuzvendra Chahal scels the first hat-trick of IPL 2025, MS Dhoni in 1 over 1 scales 4; 1 becomes a bowler …

Yuzvendra Chahal produced a performance for the age in IPL 2025 as he became the first bowler to take hat-trick. The Punjab Kings spinner ended on Wednesday with a 4/32 figure against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai. In fact, he is the first bowler after IPL 2023 to choose a hat -trick. After scoring 23 runs in his first two overs, Chahal was attacked by PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer in the 19th over. Although he was killed for six with the first ball, he chose MS Dhoni’s wicket on the second ball. He went to the scalp to Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kamboj and Noor Ahmed to complete their second hat-trick in the IPL.

Chahal is now the first player in history to take a hat -trick against CSK in IPL. This is the first example of a bowler taking a hat-trick in Chepuk since 2008. That year, CSK’s Laxmathphi Balaji became the first person to achieve an achievement against Kings XI Punjab (now PBKS).

Sam Curan provoked the test position to produce an Imperius 88, but burst after four wickets from Yuzvendra Chahal, including a hat-trick, excluded Chennai Super Kings against Punjab Kings in his Indian Premier League match here on Wednesday.

Curran’s first fifty (88, 9×4 4×6 in 47 balls) of Curran, he angered his side’s recovery process from an uncertain 48 for three in power play.

With its back against the wall, Curan, in association with the Developed Brevis (32), returned a strong 78-run with the fourth wicket stand in the competition to carefully plot CSK’s way and turned the heat on PBK bowling.

By the 16th over, CSK took around nine runs to the coast in one over when the England all -rounder selected Suryash Shej to attack.

The first two balls were hit for a long and a six -time six on the square leg, and on the third valid delivery it made a great diving attempt to save a certain third six from Shreyas Iyer.

But curan was not yet done as he pierced the gaps to achieve several borders on the next two delivery, eventually gathered 26 from PBKS Novis.

Curan’s attack forced PBKS strike bowler Arshdeep to resort to a broad full toss, resulting in a clean -suitable for four runs, but for which he had to bowl eight delivery because there were two wide deliverys.

Karran eventually fell in the 18th over, a Marco Jansen was getting an edge while trying to make a duck under the bouncer, but this season was not before any batsman in the famous yellow jersey before knocking a spank and substance.

Chahal, who was a wicket -free, was killed by MS Dhoni (11) for six, but the bowler caught him for a long time on second delivery.

At the fourth, Deepak Hooda (2) played a makeli towards the backward point, while on the fifth, the Impact Substitute Anishul Kamboj (0) was cleaned.

Noor Ahmed (0) tried to overcome one, but incorrectly eliminated his shot and came from Long-on to complete Jansen hat-trick, which was the second of the lab-spinner in the IPL.

This was once again a disappointing beginning of the innings for CSK in which his opener Sheikh Rashid (11) and Ayush Matre (7) fell into any dental.

Rashid hit a couple of attractive stroke before misunderstanding one and Shashank Singh caught Arshadeep an easy in the third over.

Mhatre failed to clean the mid-off, where Shreyas caught a good catch after covering some distance to the left for Jensen’s first wicket in the game.

Ravindra Jadeja (17) showed aggressive intentions with a ball, but he fell to Harpreet Brar, who was trying to cut the very close of the body and was caught behind.
