“You have to make peace”: India’s giants slam in LSG vs. DC Game

Rishabh Pant endured a difficult day as the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) of his side were beaten on a large scale by the Delhi Capital (DC) in IPL 2025. Pant had a day to forget with the bat, and appeared disappointed throughout the game, showing the scenes that he is showing animated chats with members of LSG assistant staff members. Pant came to bat at number 7 and came out for a duck, and was later shown a warm discussion with LSG patron Zaheer Khan.

Seeing the pants unhappy, former India cricketers Anil Kumble and Suresh Raina chose their condemnable and the way they express their displeasure.

“Looking at Rishabh, he seems disappointed with the situation. It seems that he wanted to go early. Was it his own decision, or was it the decision of coach Justin Langer or Patron Zaheer Khan?” Anil Kumble said, speaking on Star Sports.

Raina reported that the pants still had to go out and captain the side for 20 overs in a low scoring game, on which Kumble commented on how the pants should react.

Kumbal said, “In such a situation, you have to make peace. You have to make peace because you are the captain.

Pants, which were usually bats at number 4, came in low position in number 7, when LSG’s innings had only two balls left. Abdul Samad, David Miller and Ayush Badoni were all sent ahead of Pant.

When he came out to bat, the pants aggressively accused his first ball, swinging hard, but remembered him. Pants then tried to reverse the next ball and it was running on its stump. Pant has now scored only 106 runs after nine games, which is at a shocking low strike rate of 96.

In the outfield, while fielding, Pants showed many animated chats with their players, such as Digwesh Rathi and Avesh Khan.

LSG’s defeat left him fifth in the IPL 2025 points table over 10 points, but played another match compared to all the rest in the top four.

The LSG was excluded by DC, as former LSG captain KL Rahul slammed an unbeaten 42-gendend 57 to guide the Delhi house. Jeet took DC up to 12 points, which was similar to table-toppers Gujarat Titans.
