Yordon Alverages (Hand Swelling) Astros on 10-day IL

Houston Astro announced on Monday that the All-Star Sligan Yordon Alveraz was placed in the 10-day injured list with a right hand swelling.
The move is retrospective on May 3, when Alvarez was scratched by the Astro’s 8–3 hosts on the lineup before winning 8-3 over the Host Chicago White Sox. The Astros manager who said at the time that Alveraz was dealing with inflammation with inflammation.
Alvarez, who was earlier on the injured list for swelling of the right hand in July 2022, has left for a slow start this season, batting. 210 with three domestic runs and 18 RBI in 100 plates showing.
The 27-year has a career batting average of .295 with 167 domestic runs and 484 RBI in 658 games with all Astro. In the last season, he was an all-star selection for the third consecutive year.
In the same move, Astro recalled Caher Caesar Salazar from Triple-e-Sugarland.
29 -year -old Salashar had done 8 RBI in 12 matches in the last season for Houston, which draft him in the seventh round of the 2017 MLB draft. He appeared in 13 major league games in 2023.
Astro starts a three-game series against Bruers on Monday night in Milwauki after leaving the final game of the series with white sox 5-4.
