Former Indian cricketer and expert, Yograj Singh has said that Rishabh Pant’s problem can be fixed in five minutes. The statement comes after his poor form in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2025). In an interview, Yograj Singh said that he has identified Pant’s technical flaws — notably his unsteady head and an opening left shoulder.
“Rishabh Pant’s problem can be fixed in just five minutes. His head isn’t steady, and his left shoulder is opening up too much. With a bit of focused correction, he’ll be back to his best in no time,” said Yograj, father of former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.
Rishabh Pant failed to deliver in IPL 2025
As stated above, Pant had a horrible time in IPL 2025 edition. Being the most expensive player in IPL history after being purchased for ₹27 crore, Pant struggled with his timing as he managed to score just 135 runs in 12 matches at an average of 12.27 and a strike rate of 100. His highest score was 63.
Pant’s poor form was one of the main reasons for LSG’s early elimination from IPL 2025. Several cricket experts and former cricketers, including Kris Srikkanth and Mohammad Kaif, criticized his leadership. Even Mitchell Marsh, his teammate, admitted that Pant would be the first to acknowledge his struggles this season.
