India’s opener Yashsvi Jaiswal has requested the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to allow him to live with domestic veterans, a month after an objection certificate (NOC) asked for switching to Goa. In April, Jaiswal surprised everyone by writing to MCA to take his approval for a shock step for Goa. On its behalf, MCA also approved Jaywal’s request rapidly. PTI is under the possession of Jaiswal’s email in MCA in which he said he is available to represent Mumbai in the next domestic season.

“I request your good person to consider my request to withdraw myself my NOC because I had some family plans to shift to Goa, which has shut down for now!”

“So I honestly request MCA to allow me to play for Mumbai this season!

Jaiswal, who moved from Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh as a young player from Mumbai and got up through a rank to make his debut in the last few years, it was also believed that he had moved from Mumbai to Goa to Goa for the possibility of becoming his captain.

A packed international calendar may not have given a lot of time to spend 23 -year -old Jaiswal with Goa, but his becoming captain will give him some experience in major leadership roles.

Shamba Desai, Secretary, Goa Cricket Association, had earlier confirmed PTI that Jaiswal would be his captain, in which the Goa team would be promoted from plate division to elite before 2025-26 seasons.
