Karun Nair and Ishaan Kishan were included in a squad in India for the upcoming tour of England, while the team will be led by Abhimanu Ishwan. The team also portrayed Yashsvi Jaiswal, while Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan will join the squad before their second match. Dhruv Juraral was nominated as the vice-captain, while Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shardul Thakur were also nominated in the squad. Ruturaj Gikwad, who missed the IPL 2025 due to injury, and Sarfaraz Khan also got a place in the squad.
According to the BCCI media release, Shubman Gill and Sai Reformson will join the squad before the second match. Both matches will be held on 30 May and 6 June.
India will play two first -class matches against England Lions in A Cancerbury and Northampton.
The tour will end with a match against Team India (Senior Men).
