Things have been “really good” for late Brandon Nimmo.

New York Mets has left two grand slams and batting in the last four days. 353 (6-for-17) During that stretch to help his team post four-market winning streak. Nimmo has scored 18 domestic runs in 86 matches this season, six shy of a total of 24 sets of the best homer of his career in 152 matches in 2023.

He and Mates will keep rolling and will try to sweep the New York Yankis at the conclusion of the metro series at the City Field on Sunday afternoon.

Nimmo exploded his most recent Grand Slam in the first innings on Saturday, helping his team in a lead, it would never sacrifice during a 12–6 win.

“This is really good when quiet things are that,” he said. “I have been playing for a long time, and I have not hit two grand slams in a week, so it is really funny feeling, especially in this environment. It looks like a playoff baseball. The metro chain is always so energy, and to do that the first innings really really good.”

About 2 1/2 years ago, Nimmo made changes to his swing and plate. He became more selective and saw to harm as much as possible in each bat.

Met’s manager Carlos Medoza said, “He is now closed for a good stretch.” “Running baseball with the authority, controlling the strike zone, going to the other way, taking hard pitches. … Right now he likes a lot from his et-bats.”

On Wednesday, the Met’s helped in a corner after losing 14 out of 14 from June 13 to 14 in the first game of Doubleheader against Milwauki Brucers. New York rebound to take a second game and was aggressively crushing the ball during its current success, dropping its opponents from 28–16.

Right-handed Chris Dewenski (0–0, 3.38 ERA), which was called back from Triple-e-Syracuse on Friday, will start for Mats on Sunday.

Yenkis will compete with the left-arm left-arm Max Fried (10–2, 2.13 ERA) as they see to snap the six-game losing streak. He is 9–5 with 2.50 ERA in 24 Games against Mets (starting with 19).

With its latest disadvantages, Yenkis have fallen three games behind Toronto Blue Jais for the top position in the American League East. Yenki has dropped 16 of his last 22 matches, and his current slide is his second six-game shock during that stretch. This is his longest skid since leaving nine directly from August 12-22, 2023.

The last time he had two six-game slides in a season in 2000.

“These are moments that build a character as a team and also help to find out that it helps you find out and define what you need to move forward and where you need to change,” said Aaron Boon, the manager of the yankise.

Defense errors have hurt Yankise in this series with three through two matches. Both finally scored runs on Saturday.

“We just got to play better,” said Yankis Star Aaron Judge. “This is why it comes down. It is the basic things, which leads to routine routine. These are just small things.”
