Yankees Rhp Luis Gil (LAT) started rehabilitation assignment

New York Yenkis right-handed Luis Gill is starting a rehabilitation assignment with a double-e-somrasset on Sunday.

The 27 -year -old Gill, in 2024, was the American League Ruki of the Year, but all the seasons have been sidelined. During spring training, he reported tightness in his pitching shoulder and was eventually diagnosed with a high-grade lat tension.

On 21 June, he threw the batsmen in a workout at the Yanki Stadium and has now moved forward for sports action.

In the previous season, Gill started 15–7 with 3.50 ERA in 29. He scored 171 runs in 151 2/3 innings, but allowed 77 walks, in the largest major.

Yenkis is avoiding his pitching rotation with Gill and former Cymn Award winner Gerit Cole (Tommy John Surgery). Recently, left -arm Ryan Yarbro (right diagonally stress) and right -hand Clarke Schmid (Tommy John Surgery) were placed on the injured list.
