Tampa Bay rays will host their second direct American League East opponent, when New York Yankis traveled south to start a four-game series on Thursday night.

It will be an unusual series for Division-Leading New York, as it is George M in Tampa. Steinbrener becomes a visitor in the field’s own spring training home. Rays with Tropicana fields are renting it due to damage during Hurricane Milton in October.

Despite the site, it should be another battle in a tight division.

The rays came to know that this week, despite the victory of 16–1 Mondays despite Boston Red Sock losing its most recent series. The three-game chain ended with a 1-0 win for Boston on Wednesday, surrendering only five hits.

“This is actually going to be a really close season,” said Brandon Lowe, the second basic rays, the experienced rays. “There is not a weak link in the past. So it is just playing its game.”

As Tampa Bay Manager Kevin Cash sees it, Yenkis set pace after his 2024 World Series run and started 11-7, which gives him a half game lead on Toronto Blue Jaes in second place which plays on Thursday.

Like Lowe, however, cash knows that nothing will be easy.

“As we sit now, Yankis is the team for the team that they completed last year. He has a slightly different roster,” Cash said. “But I hope that AL will be very difficult and we will have a lot of good heads.”

The purpose of Tampa Bay’s strong starting pitching of Tampa Bay will be aimed at the right-handed crown braidley (2–0, 3.71 ERA). The Era of Rays Starters is 3.30, which is good for the fourth in the American League. The beginning of New York is 4.96 ERA, which ranks 14th in the 15-Team League.

“I think we felt that it was a rotation that was designed to handle a lot of innings and very big workloads, where we do not look as aggressive in making those four-innings, five-inning decisions,” said Cash.

Bradley has done seven strikeouts in each of his three this season. He is 1–1 with 0.69 ERA in two careers against Yankis.

Yenkis traveled Tampa to sweep the Cancer City Royals, which ended with a 4–3 victory on Wednesday, in which Aaron Judge killed Homer, who took the decision-making homer in the seventh innings 3-for-3 night in the seventh innings.

If New York wants to copy his success from 2024, the results like this week will be important.

“Big-time (sweep), especially at home,” said the judge. “When you look around the league, playoff teams, teams that have a deep run, play well at home.”

For now, however, the journey of the seven-game is on the tap. Yankiz has played only six road games (3-3) at home compared to 12 (8-4).

In the first game of the series, Right-Hander Will Warren (1-0, 5.14 ERA) will watch his first Major League win against San Francisco veterans on Saturday. He hit two-Hits in the 8-4 game, six in five innings of the two-run ball.

In a term with Yankis in the previous season, Warren 22/3 had 0–3 with 10.32 ERA in innings.

“A lot was learned, done through very hard outings, but I think it is what makes it even more sweet,” he said. “You learn from this, move forward and try to be better each day.”

On Thursday, Tampa will mark the presence of his first career against Bay.

Giancarlo is traveling to Tampa with Stanton (elbow) team, but a time -line has not been set yet for his return.

New York Manager Aaron Boon said, “I know that live at-bats may be in the game very soon, but I am not sure that especially (when),” said Aaron Boon, the manager of New York.
