New York Yankiz claimed outfielder Brian de la Kruz from Atlanta Braves on Thursday.
Yankis selected 28-year-old de la Cruz for Triple-e-Scranton/Wilks-Barre.
De La Cruz batted for Atlanta in 16 matches this season. He is a career with 58 Homer.251 Hoter and Miami Marlins (2021–24), Pittsburgh Pirates (2024) and 208 RBI in 491 games with Braves.
New York transferred DH/to Giancarlo Stanton in the 60-day injured list to create a room on a 40-man roster.
35 -year -old Stanton has been sidelined all the seasons in both elbows. Last week, the five-time all-star performed batting with teammates for the first time this season.
