
Number 7 Seed Irina-Camelia Begu was just 69 minutes to win in its original Romania on Monday, defeating Japan’s Nao Hibino 6–1, 6–2 to defeated the Unicreded Easy Open to defeat the Unicreded Easy Open.
Begu won 21 out of his 30 first-service points (70 percent), while Hibino struggled on his service, won only 42.9 percent of his total service points (18 out of 42).
French fifth seed Varwara Grancheva defeated Ana Bogdan of Romania 7-5, 6-2; Sixth seeded Jill Teachman of Switzerland excluded another Romanian, Mirium Bulgaru, 1-6, 7-6 (2), 6–1; And the number 3N Lee released the previous Spaniad Guomar Marristian Zuleta de Reals 3-6, 6-2, 6-2. Other winners included Maja Chawalinska of Poland and Jana Fate of Croatia on Monday.
MSc Hamburg Ladies Open
In a marathon match which took three hours and 21 minutes, Diani Parry of France left Tara Wuirth of Serbia to win 7-6 (9), 3-6, 7-5 in the first round in Hamburg.
Parry held rallies below 5-3 in the third set and rescued a double match point in the 10th game to keep himself alive. Wuirath had six aces for Parry’s three, including five in the final set, and Croatians saved 11 out of 14 break points in the defeat.
Nastasza Shank, the entry of Germany’s wild card, rescued nine out of 13 brake points, which he faced to bother Japan’s No. 6 Seed Moyuka Uchizima 7-5, 6-3. After extending his match on a third set, number 8 Seed Mayor Sheriff retired, gave Louisa Chiriko 4-6, 7-5, 3–0 walkover.
