WNBA Commissioner appreciated Candes Parker’s 2-Team Jersey Retirement

WNBA Commissioner Kathy Engelbert celebrated Candes Parker’s career on Sunday before two jersey retirement for League Superstar.
Los Angeles will retire two -time WNBA MVP’s number 3 jersey before Sunday’s game against Sparks Parker’s hometown Chicago Sky. The Parker Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie (No. 9) and former player and general manager Penny Toller (No. 11), who retired by the franchise as the third player.
Akash will later retire its number 3 jersey in this summer, which placed the Parker to retire by two separate teams as a loan WNBA players with Lindsay Velan. The vessel retired his jerseys by both Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Links.

Parker highlighted his 13 season with Los Angeles by helping the team in the WNBA title in 2016. The seven-time all-star was the number 1 overall pick by the sparks in the 2008 WNBA draft.
The 39 -year -old Parker also won the title with Sky (2021) and Las Vegas Aces (2023).
She was Ruki of the Year and League MVP in 2008 and added the second MVP award in 2013. Other appreciation included All-Star Games MVP (2013), Final MVP (2016) and Defense Players of the Year (2020).
Parker took out 16.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 support, 1.3 theft and average of 1.5 blocks in 410 Games (406) with Sparks (2008-20), Sky (2021-22) and ECE (2023).
Parker was a two -time NCAA champion in Tennessee and a two -time wooden award winner. In 2006, she became the first woman to sting the NCAA tournament game.
He won the team USA in Beijing in 2008 and the Olympic gold medal in 2012 in London.
