Without Neeffasa Coliere, Links still rally for top sparks

Kayla McBrid scored 29 points on 9-for-13 shooting and Minnesota Links held a rally to win 82-66 at Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday night in Minianpolis.

Courtney Williams added 18 points on 8-for-13 shooting for Minnesota (12–1), which won his third game continuously. Maria Clendicova made the first start of the season for Links and finished with 12 points to go with eight rebels.

Kelsey Plum scored 15 points to lead Los Angeles (4–10). Deerica Hamby ended with 13 points and six rebounds, and Azura Stevens scored 11 runs.

Links shot 53.6 percent (30 out of 56) from the region and 44 percent beyond the 3-point line (11 out of 11). Sparks shot a total of 36.9 percent (24 out of 24) and 22.6 percent from long distance (7 out of 31).

Minnesota was played without his top scorer and rebounds, Neeffa Kolier, who was excluded after leaving the previous game of Links due to a back injury. The 28 -year -old colir is an average of 24.4 points and 8.5 rebounds.

Despite the final score, Los Angeles led 35–34 in Halftime.

Links took over from there, however, he dropped the sparks from 48–31 in the second half. This included a growth of 23–19 in the third quarter and 25–12 in the fourth.

Rickia Jackson made 1 out of 2 free throw to give sparks a 52–50 lead with 2:17 in the third quarter.

Diamond Miller responded with a pair of free throw to tie the score at 52-All with 1:47 in the quarters. Alana Smith chased with a driving for the links with 1:05 to leave, and Carly Samuelson created a free throw to make 55-52 for Minnesota, which finished the quarter by 57–54.

In the fourth quarter, it was in favor of speed links.

Sarah Ashley Barker made a 3-pointer to insert sparks at the top 59-58 with 7:43, the links returned. Kliundikova created a basket to start a 10–0 run, which ended with Williams, with links ahead 68–59.

McBrid had three minutes left up to 77–63 to increase the benefit of Minnesota, and Links led the rest of the path comfortably.
