
Arike Ogunbowale put in 21 points and Dalus got a huge boost from its store as the wings defeated Atlanta Dream 68-55 in Arlington, Texas in the third quarter on Tuesday.
Wings (4–12) led only two on the halftime, but scoring 10 runs in the fourth quarter. Three free throw by Aziaha James with 7:08 increased the wings lead to 11. With 5:29, the jumper of Paigi Beucers pushed the score to 62–49 and Dallas was able to move home from there.
Dallas won for the third time in its last four competitions, while The Dream (10-5) scratched the two-game winning streak. Wings bench players dropped their Atlanta counterparts from 21-5.
Bueckers added 12 points, ended with James 11 and Lee Euru rated 10 points for 10 points and feathers-high 15 rebounds. Dallas played his second direct game without the injured Dijinai Carrington, without its third major scorer.
Rhine Howard of Atlanta led all scorers with 23 points and added eight rebounds. Elisha Gray had 13 points and Broni Jones hit for 12. Atlanta shot only 23.4 percent from the floor.
