Harry Brook, nearly two months after the Indian Premier League (IPL) was expelled from 2025, was finally named by Delhi Capital (DC). Brook joined the capitals for Rs 6.25 crore, but came out of the tournament. And a month later, he named the White-Ball captain of England, which gives the reason for his home to stay back.
However, for the shock of all, the capitals did not declare a replacement. And now with just 3 group stage matches, he has signed by Cedicullah Atal for Rs 1.25 crore.
Who is SedQullah Atal?
Atal is a left -handed batsman from Afghanistan. After making his international debut in 2023, Atal has represented Afghanistan in all formats in international cricket. Some people may remember him from the Champions Trophy 2025, where he played an 85 -run knock against Australia.
The 23 -year -old does not have incredible T20 numbers, but is finding his best in the format. His first franchise stent came first in the year when he played for Mi Cape Town in SA20 2025.
Many people cannot miss, but Atal made a name for himself in 2023. Playing in the Kabul Premier League, Atal hit 7 sixes in an over. Yes, you read that right. He scored 48 runs in Amir Zazai’s over, including 5 wide. By then he played only 1 T20I for Afghanistan, and this knock touched him.
