“Who are these people?” KL Rahul, pre-India cricketer shocked compared to Sachin Tendulkar

Former India cricketer and famous cricket expert Atul Vasan was recently presented with a comparison in which India’s star KL Rahul was compared to legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar. Visiting a show, Vasan was told that many fans look at Rahul’s position in Delhi’s capitals, which is like Tendulkar with the Indian team in the 1990s, where star batter dismissal will cause people to close their television sets. However, Vasan laughed the comparison, saying that Rahul can never be compared to Tendulkar.

“If you talk about KL Rahul and Sachin Tendulkar in a single sentence, I will go. TV is closing because KL Rahul is getting out? Who are these people?” Vasan said, speaking on the show ‘Bells and Butter’ on the Ottplay platform.

KL Rahul has tolerated a mixed season in Delhi Capital (DC) after KL Rahul purchased for Rs 14 crore at a mega auction for Rs 14 crore.

Rahul is the most run-scorer of the team comfortably, and IPL is one of the batsmen who have crossed 500 runs in 2025. However, DC has faced a dramatic collapse in the ongoing tournament, resulting in excluding the tournament.

After winning all of their first four matches, DC has lost six of its last nine matches, resulting in a game out with a game.

When it comes to run-scoring apart from Rahul, only other batsmen have crossed 300 runs for DC as wicket-keeper Abishek Porl. The inconsistent batting has been a regular feature for the team, with many changes in the initial combination and batting order.
