White Sox put Martin Perez (elbow) on 15-day IL

Chicago White Sox placed Martin Perez on the 15-day injured list on Saturday and recalled the left-handed Jared Suster from Triple-e-Charlotte.
Perez left the game of Friday against Boston Red Sox after three innings with swelling of the left elbow. He allowed five hits on his 52 pitches, one of which was the first of the two-three-run Homer by Trevor Story in Chicago’s 10–2 defeat.
“We need Martin,” said white sox manager Will Veneble on Friday night. “We need things that he does on the mound, what she does in the club house.”
Perez, 34, is 1–1 with 3.15 ERA in four, this season, one year, his first team with the team after signing a year, $ 5 million contract.

He has moved 6-8 with 4.93 ERAs at 50 Career Games (15 Starts) with Atlanta Braves (2023) and White Sox.
