Chicago White Sax on Thursday restored Chess Medroth, who has been stalled from the 10-day injured list.
He takes the rosie-informeder gauge workman’s roster spot, which went with the correct hip flexor strain on the 10-day IL.
The 23 -year -old medroth landed on IL on April 21 with swelling of the right thumb.
Meidroth is batting. 269 with an RBI in nine matches since his major league debut on 11 April.
The 25 -year -old is 0 -for -2 in three matches with White Sox since the 25 -year -old, Chicago cub was acquired on Saturday.
