Vancouver coach Jasper Sorenson said, “We have a big game that is coming to Mexico.” “This is something behind the players’ mind, and also for me and coaching staff. It’s just a difficult period where we just have to balance a lot of things rather than just going out and attacking things.”
Vancouver suffered his first loss against the Chicago Fire on Saturday since 22 March, when the Real Salt Lake had a 2–0 rally rally for a 3–2 road victory.
RSL scored twice in the first four minutes, but Vancouver later tied it in the first half by Brian White in a brace. Midfielder Pedro Wit scored a game-winner in the 90th minute.
“Surely a good result for us,” White said, who hit the 10-grass mark for the third consecutive season. “Hopefully, we can take that confidence and learning lessons in the game to Minnesota and then Cruise Azul, and keep on ticking from there.”
Minnesota comes into a 1–1 draw with a visit to Austin FC on Saturday. Defender Michael Boxol scored in the 16th minute, but despite taking Austin out of 17–8, Lones did not add the first Half Equalizer for Zain Kolmanik.
Minnesota coach Eric Ramsay said, “We certainly, the major team, had a rival to a foot on the neck for a large part of the team.” “In the context of the completion of the performance, it is one step ahead, and we want to look more like this.”
This is the second meeting between the two teams. Vitee won the first 3–1 in St. Paul, Minan on 27 April behind a pair of goals by Vite.
