What is the meaning of India -Pakistan ceasefire for the restart of IPL 2025 – explained

A full and immediate ceasefire between India and Pakistan has been agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire on land, wind and sea after across the border of a few days, including missiles and drone attacks, for the purpose of many cities in India. The Guardian has reported that Richard Gold, Chief Executive Officer of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), has already contacted his counterparts at BCCI, who are about the proposal to host the remaining season of ECB.

On the other hand, the tournament can be completed in a concentrated part of the country, away from the risk of cross-limit tension. As reported by Espncricinfo, BCCI was designed to consider Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad as places to complete the remaining 16 matches of the tournament.
