What are the sessions time on God’s day on the day of the test of God?

England put 251/4 in 83 overs on day 1. The root will start at 99*, while Ben Stokes is at 39.

Joe Root’s gritty, unbeaten 99 ensured England ended Day 1 of the Lord’s Test on a stable 251/4, in what turned out to be a day of attritional cricket rather than Bazball fireworks. England’s decision to bat first on a green-tinged pitch wasn’t without risk, and early signs suggested India’s pace trio, spearheaded by the returning Jasprit Bumrah, was more than up for the challenge. While the main bowlers failed to find an early breakthrough, Nitish Kumar Reddy startled.

While India created regular chances, it was Root and Ollie Pope who steadied England with a 109-run partnership across two sessions. Nitish Kumar Reddy was the standout among India’s bowlers, claiming two wickets, including Duckett and Crawley, in a fiery opening over to keep India in the hunt. Ben Stokes, who is out of form, survived a few close calls but remained unbeaten.

With Root left stranded on 99*, India will look to strike early on Day 2 using the brand-new ball. Before the second day starts, here’s a breakdown of the Day 2 session timings for viewers in India and the UK.
