“We don’t blame you”: Virat Kohli joked by England’s County Championship on Test Retirement

The Indian Cricket Selection Committee is completely in danger as captain Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the tests. To make cases worse, some reports also came to light, stating that star batter Virat Kohli also wants to get out of the longest format of the game. This report shocked everyone, as many former cricketers came forward and expressed dissatisfaction over it. Although an official term remains from Kohli’s favor, the selectors are facing a difficult time, finalizing the squad for the upcoming five -match Test series against England.
The series between India and England will begin on June 20 and further, the County Championship made a brutal excavation in Virat Kohli.
Taking X (East Twitter), the County Championship posted a short video, showing some wickets of English pacers Gus Etkinson and Josh Gibi during the domestic tournament in England.
Read in the caption of the video, “We don’t blum you, Virat.”

The intention behind the video was to tell that Kohli is afraid of facing English pace on English soil.
According to a report, Kohli is eager to leave the longest format of the game and has already done the same communication for the BCCI Selection Committee for Cricket in India.
While a highly influential person in the Indian cricket spectrum has allegedly asked to intervene in the case, it is also reported that Kohli does not want to change his attitude.
According to the Times of India, Kohli was requested to revalu on his stance on leaving the test format, especially after Rohit Sharma declared his retirement from red-ball cricket, but he is not ready to move.
The BCCI is said to have spoken to Kohli on the matter, stating how important his presence is in India’s highly inexperienced middle order, but the batsman has made up his mind.
“Kohli informed the selectors about the desire to quit the test two weeks ago. They were trying to convince him to play in the test series against England. However, he is still firm on his stance. The final call would come close to the selection meeting next week,” Paper said a source.
