Staring at the Western Conference Standing just above the playoff line, Colorado Rapids hopes that when they receive a trip from Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday in Commerce City, Colo, a trip from Los Angeles Galaxy is expected to shake the three-game losing streak.

Rapids (6-8-4, 22 digits) return from home after a pair of shutout disadvantages at home. The most recent was a 1-0 loss against Orlando City.

Djordje Mihailovic leads the team with seven goals and provides three assistance, but has not found the net back to Portland Timbers on May 28 since the loss.

Colorado noticed that midfielder Cole Baset made a comeback with an ankle injury to Orlando City after recalling the last four matches.

“Listen, we are not going anywhere. We have a lot to play,” said Rapid’s head coach Chris Armas. “So much season has been left, let’s say that there is half a season. A lot of house games are coming, so we just have to go back to work. After the break, we will be ready to go.”

The Galaxy (1–12–5, 8 digits) not only eliminated the longest losing streak by a defending champion to start the season, 16 game league was the longest run in the 16 game league history to open the season without winning.

Los Angeles finally ended his skid with a 2–0 win over Real Salt Lake on 31 May. The club is now at a streak of two-marks after 3-3 tie in St. Louis City on 14 June.

But the tie was filled with disappointment after Galaxy took a 3–2 lead in the 87th minute from Gabriel PEC, then missed the entire three digits when St. Louis City scored in the fifth minute of the second-half stop time.

Galaxy’s head coach Greg Wanni said, “There are a lot of things (which were challenging) and we have still kept ourselves in a position to win, but seeing what we are trying to do in terms of learn to put results and points on the board and being better in that regard, it seems like two los (points),” said the main coach Greg and Galaxy’s chief coach said. “People are definitely disappointed with that side of things.”
