Warriors Jimmy Butler III exits with pelvic injury, major for MRI

The Golden State Wing Jimmy Butler III left the playoff game of Warriors against host Houston Rockets in the first quarter on Wednesday after maintaining a pelvic fusion, and is due to undergoing an MRI exam on Thursday.
After the rockets’ winning of 109-94, the first series of Western conference as a victory was flattened, Golden State coach Steve Ker said, “Jimmy always says he is going to recover. We will have to wait to see with MRI.”
Butler hit the floor at a hard fall with 2:28 in the early stages. Rockets Guard Amen Thompson, Jostling, Butler’s legs became a tumbl for position in paint with Golden State Forward Drummond Green, as Butler jumped for a rebound.
Butler came down the flat on his back and faced injury. He stayed in the game and made two free throw, but left with 1:51 in the quarters.
Kerr said the postgame that he had to see the rebound till now, but his employees told him that “there was some materiality on the rebound and I think Thompson inadvertently found himself under the gym. … We didn’t think anything was wrong with the play. It was just one of those things.
Butler was important for the Golden State Game 1 win with 25 points. He had three points and two rebounds in 7:52, logging in on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old experienced was acquired by Warriors in a five-team trade by Warriors in February. Butler had Golden State 25–26 before making his debut, then went 23–8 in a regular session of 23-8 as Butler got 17.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assistance with his new club.
