“Wanted big artist, not big name”: Preity Zinta reacted as a fake Rishabh pant quotation, goes viral

Punjab Kings are starting a flight under Shreyas Iyer for the 2025 campaign for the 2025 campaign. Punjab allegedly had both Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pants on the Vishlist in front of the IPL 2025 auction, but the dynamics were such that they could only bid for Shreyas. In the quotation, Zinta was comparing between Iyer and the pants, calling the latter ‘big name’, while the former was a ‘big artist’. However, the Bollywood actress resorted to social media to call Boli a fake.

“We had both Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer- the options we could take in the team. But we wanted a big artist, not a big name … so we took Shreyas Iyer in the team.”
