Wander Franco faces additional allegations in the Republic of Dominican

Tampa Bay Rays Shortstop Wander Franco is facing a gun charge in her original Dominican Republic.
The illegal occupation of an firearm charge stems from an incident in November in which the police responded to a site of a dispute related to Franco and found a gun in the car that he was driving.
According to a USA Today report, the allegation was filed on Sunday, but a lawyer representing Franco said that no crime was committed as the weapon was properly registered for the player’s uncle.
On Monday, 24 -year -old Franco is expected to court in Santo Domingo, where he is prosecuting allegations of sexual abuse, sexual abuse against a minor, and human trafficking. If convicted, he can be sentenced to 20 years of prison.
Franco was a growing MLB star in August 2023 when he was put on administrative leave amid allegations when he engaged in a relationship with a girl of one month -14 -year -old after his first all -star selection. He was taken to MLB’s banned list in July last July and remained the subject of MLB investigation.
