Tyler Fitzgerld, who was raised to end the ninth innings, ran home as a 10th-inning automatic runner by Atlanta Braves Reliever Pierce Johnson on two-out, two-stroke wild pitch, winning the host San Francisco veterans on Friday.
Spencer Bivence trapped the locations loaded at the top of the 10th, Fijrald’s Jung Hu Lee’s ground to third from second to third, resulting in the second part of the inning. Fijarld collapsed in the plate when Brave Catcher Scene Murphy could not track Johnson’s wrong curveball in the dirt.
Bivence (2-2) was credited with victory, the third straight of the veterans.
Braves, who ralled with a lower loss of 3–0 losses to force the additional innings, dropped their fifth straight. Johnson (1-2) suffered losses.
A day after San Diego Padress allowed seven runs in the ninth innings of 11–10 defeat, one day after jumping back into action, Braves dug themselves an immediate hole in San Francisco when two errors contributed to the first three-rich veterans.
Fighting a difficult battle, Braves also attracted at the two -run house run by Matt Olson in the seventh, which was 13th of the season.
Atlanta took place within 3–2 in the fourth when Murphy hit a sacrifice fly and another run scored at the error thrown by the fielder Lee of the giants center.
In the fifth, Dominic Smith of San Francisco flew to his second sacrifice of the night, making a two-run cushion which was eventually wiped out by Olson.
The biggest braves of the veterans were ignited by the inning-opening singles from the Heliat Ramos, Lee and Willmer Flores, in which the floors driving in a run. Smith made it 2–0 with his first sacrifice fly to a Schwellenbach Wild Pitch Fly 2–0 with a third run.
Schwellenbach made it through six innings, accusing six hits of four runs (three acquired). He went two and hit four.
Veteran starter Hayden Birdsong was pulled to fifth place. He conceded two runs on two hits. He went five, came out of five and came out with a 3–2 lead.
Ramos had three hits and floors, which were in a plate at the time of walk-off wild pitch, collected a pair for veterans, who used to exclude visitors from 8-6. The walk-off win was the seventh of the season of San Francisco.
Olson scored twice and Michael Harris II made two hits for Braves, who were opening a six game trip.
