Wade Miley captured the first win since ’23 as Reds Top Guardian

Jake Fraley placed a single homer in a three-hit game, while Wade Miley won her first win in almost two years, as Cincinnati Reds defeated Cleveland’s Guardian 7–4 on Monday night.

Miley (1-0) acted in five innings, scoring three runs on five hits in his second presence since joining the team since joining the team on Wednesday, performing in May 2024 in Tommy John Surgery.

Miley won for the first time since September 21, 2023, when she and Millvauki Brevers defeated St. Louis Cardinals. The left -handed batsman made Cleveland manager Terry Frankona’s return with Cincinnati for a long time.

Emilio Pagan worked in the ninth innings for his 16th Save. Reds won the fourth direct game overall and won the season series with in-set rival Cleveland, claiming Ohio Cup custody for the first time in 11 years. Cincinnati won all three at home against the guardians last month.

TJ Freedal hit a single homer in the third innings, then scored a Christian Encarnasian-Strand Sacrifice fly in the fifth, which put Cincinnati ahead for 4-3. Gavin Lux (Sixth-Inning Single), Will Banson (Seventh-Inning Single) and Connor Joe (Ninth-Inning Double) dealt with RBI hits for Reds.

The parents scored three times to go up 3–2 at the lower part of the third at the singles of Angel Martinez, Jose Ramirez and Carlos Santana, but Fraley tied it with a right-centter with his homer in the fourth.

Fraley abolished the 3 -for -4, leading to its average to 218.
