Kohli, who recently announced his retirement from Test cricket, is now focusing on helping RCB his first IPL title. On Thursday, Kohli was seen at a private airport in Mumbai, riding in a flight to Bengaluru with wife Anushka Sharma. Kohli and Anushka’s scenes quickly went viral in social media platforms.
After the declaration of his test retirement, Kohli visited the holy city of Vrindavan, and is now making his way to Bengaluru for the IPL 2025 restart.

RCB and Kohli are second in the IPL 2025 table, the table-toppers are second on the same points as the Gujarat Titans (GT), and are on the verge of sealing their merit for the playoffs. Kohli has carried out a standout campaign, with 505 runs in 11 matches with seven half -centuries.
Kohli has never won the IPL Trophy in his career, losing the final on three occasions. RCB regularly cut off its work in the absence of captain Rajat Patidar, as well as some of his star foreign artists. Kohli is unlikely to lead the RCB despite the absence of Patidar, Jitesh Sharma is likely to fill.
Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket earlier this week, given time on a brilliant career, where he scored 9,230 runs in 123 Tests, and also captain India for 40 win in 68 matches.
“It has been 14 years because I first wore Bagi Blue in Test Cricket. Honestly, I never imagined the journey that this format will take me. It has tested me, shaped me, and taught me a lesson that I will take for life. I will take it for life. Something deep about playing in the whites. There is something deep personal about playing in the whites. Quiet piece, long, which is not with you,”
“As I am far from this format, it’s not easy – but it seems right. I have given it everything that I had, and it is very much given to me as much as I could expect. I am going away with gratitude -filled heart – for the game, for the game, with the people I have shared the field, and for every person who saw me in this way.”
“I will always look at my test career with a smile. #269, signing,” he concluded.
