Virat Kohli is clearly liked, RCB dominates with four players

The week 5 of IPL 2025 probably watched some of the best matches in the tournament so far. Except for a PBKS vs. KKR encounter, which was washed out, all produced some good results. Virat Kohli continued his outstanding show, and similarly KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav. On the bowling front, Jasprit Bumrah was excellent, and so Trent Bault and Josh Hazlewood. But it was a week that was not related to spinners.

IPL 2025 Team of Week (April 21-27)

Virat Kohli

RCB played two matches a week, and Virat Kohli was excellent in both outings. He scored two fifties and 121 runs. He took an average of 60, and showed everyone, why he is still best in business, even 36.

Shubman Gill

GT’s Shubman is the second opener for this week, and is also a skipper. He scored 90 runs in the only match of the week for the team. He scored 90 runs and his strike was 163 there. Broadly, he has been very successful at the top of the order.

KL Rahul

DC played two matches, and Rahul turned to the team on both occasions. In one he scored 41 runs, and in the other he pasted with a valuable 57. He saw in a different mood against RCB and his celebration definitely made a statement.

Suryakumar Yadav

There is a quarrel between Surya and Sai Reformson for the Orange Cap. In the last two matches, MI Batter scored 94 runs in all, along with a 54 innings and 200 overall strike-rate. He is at the center of the return of MI in the season.

Aden marikram

The LSG is like slipping in the playoff race, but Aiden Markram has churned the performances. At Gon Week, he scored one fifty and even took two wickets, on an average of 15 on an average. Nevertheless, there is a need to do a lot of work by him and LSG.

Exer Patel

The first half of the tournament was not the best with the ball, but really raised some speed. In two matches, he took two wickets, while his economy was only 6. He scored 49 runs with the bat, and on an average 49 and the strike-by-148.

Tim david

Dasher Tim David scored 42 runs in two innings last week. Although it was not the best performance from any stretch of imagination, but still decent enough to make it as a power-hitter in the team.

Krunal Pandya

Two matches scored 73 runs to Senior Pandya. He managed to score fifty after 9 years in the IPL. Although last week, he was not the best with the ball, and just took one wicket, but he is actually a property for any team.

Trent Bault, Josh Hazlewood and Jasprit Bumrah

All three have 18 wickets in the last week. Bault topped the chart with seven scals, followed by Hazelwood at 6, Bumrah at 5. These veterans showed, there is no alternative to experience. In this window, all three had strikes under 10.
