Virat Kohli completed his career slam with IPL 2025 Trophy, joined MS Dhoni at the top

Virat Kohli has won a World Cup, one T20 World Cup and two ICC Champion Trophy in addition to the ICC Test Mess and IPL Trophy.
The IPL is one of the tournaments that really does not define the greatness of a player, but then if you do not have a trophy .. then something is incomplete. Ask Virat Kohli, who had everything in his cabinet till tonight, but the star will crave for IPL glory only once. And after waiting for 18 long years, RCB made unimaginable.
Finally an IPL trophy for Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli joined his first trophy .. A dream that started back in 2008. Now, 36-year-old, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have the world’s league-who have 5 and 6 trophy respectively, in the tournament. The small empty space in his cabinet is finally completed .. and hence is a career slam.
Player | IPL title | T20 World Cup | World Cup | Champions Trophy |
---|---|---|---|---|
Virat Kohli | 2025 | 2024 | 2011 | 2013, 2025 |

Rohit Sharma | 2009, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020 | 2007, 2024 | , | 2013, 2025 |
White-ball legend is Virat, he has won all this. 2011 World Cup, 2013 Champions Trophy, 2024 T20 World Cup, 2025 Champions Trophy and now with IPL. The only regret, if at all, may have come before. But all the disappointment in those three lost finals – 2009, 2011 and 2016 has now gone.
All in the same league?
Perhaps, fans feel, it will inspire him to make a U-turn on his test retirement too. One does not know, but there are speculation to ensure. Let’s leave it for now.
Back in 2011, a young Virat had a tedious work when Sachin Tendulkar got out early in the final. He then scored 35 from 49 delivery to give hope to India. Then in the final of the CT 2013, it was his 43 which took India to 129, in a rain-verse match. In the 2024 T20 WC final, he was again the best batsman, scoring 59 to 76. Then in 2025 whistles, he had a rare failure with 1. Tonight it was 25 to 43, which gave this platform to RCB.
What do you say about this man! It would be unfair to compare them with Dhoni or Rohit, but then the title keeps them slightly above both in the greatness of white balls. The rest, those who do not agree, can choose differently.
