Lionel Messi in Inter Miami can have the most electric player, but no MLS team finds behind the net compared to the San Jose earthquakes.

San Jose attempted to continue her amazing goal-scoring, when she is struggling Messi and Antar Miami on Wednesday night.

Messi has scored five goals in MLS Play, but is not in Inter Miami (6-2-3, 21 points) sinks. The Herons have dropped two of their last three MLS matches and four out of five in all competitions.

Inter Miami’s coach Xavier Mascherano said earlier this week, “I am not going to be a hypocritical here and doing everything right because, of course, we don’t like to lose.” “I think we have lost four of the last five matches and there are things that need to be corrected.”

Miami was killed 4–1 by host Minnesota United FC on Saturday as Messi scored a single goal. It marked the second time in its last three MLS matches that the club allowed four goals.

Miami ranks fourth at the Eastern Conference. The team flew from Minnesota to San Jose after Saturday’s loss and then faced another long flight to face another long flight.

Meanwhile, San Jose (5-6–1, 16 points) has won three direct matches in all competitions, including two MLS games, behind their powerful crime. The earthquake has excluded opponents from 8–2 during its hot line and has 26 goals in the league season.

“We are getting better and, of course, when you win three games in a row, there is a stability,” said earthquake coach Bruce Arena. “The group is getting better. We have to go a long way, but I am happy with the progress we are doing.”

Chicho Arngo is tied to the MLS lead with eight goals and Joseph is six of Martinez. Christian Espinoza has four goals and is tied to the league lead with seven assistance.

Recently acquired Dejuan Jones and Arngo scored a 2–0 road win on Colorado Rapids on Saturday. Jones is quickly fit and there is one goal and two assistance in three matches since arriving from Columbus Crew.

Jones said, “There are many places, a lot (one-one), there are many crossing opportunities.” “I knew that once I came here, and was just creating chemistry with my colleagues, that I could be a pass to pass a pass, or even a boy who fulfills the goal.”

Inter Miami won the last 1-0 meeting in San Jose in August 2022.
