Valkyries are looking to reach the next level vs. unbeaten links

After two matches against Defending WNBA Champion, Golden State Volcaries receive a shot in the 2024 runner-up, when Minnesota Links on Sunday night makes his first visit to the Chess Center in San Francisco for a Commissioner Cup competition.
Extension Valkyries (2-3) have left for a respectable start, winning two of their first three matches before the back-to-back deficit in a three-day visit to New York last week.
The second of the two defeats was the most encouraging, as the vulcaries took unbeaten independence for wire before the loss of 82–77 on Thursday night.
“Today we were shown what our standard could be,” said Vulkiries Forward Monon Billings. “We left it from there, but still have to go to another level at the same time. But I think we reached a good point where it likes: Okay, let’s stop it and let’s not fall back.”
Washington Mistics was not played at home on May 21, behind 22 points from Veronica Burton and 18 from 18 and 18 from Kayla Thornton. Golden State has since received the early point guard Tiffany Hess and 3-Point expert Cecilia Zalasini, who played last season for links, back from injuries.
Links (6–0) will take a correct record against your first rival. Minnesota opened a two-game Western swing with a 74-71 win over Phoenix Para on Friday night.
Natasha Hydeman was the hero of a win with a tie-breaking 3-pointer, with 5.5 survived in a game, with Links selected to exclude Star Nefesa Kolier with a knee issue.
No announcement has been made on the reign of the western conference player for Sunday’s status for Sunday, although Minnesota coach Cheryl Reve reduced the injury after the Phoenix game.
“No, nothing happened (Tuesday’s game against Seattle). It is more precautionary,” she said. “This is something he has been working since 2023.”
Without available her star sideic available, Kayla McBrid led the victory with 20 points in her second game since opening the season on the sideline for personal reasons.
With or without collar, Links will open the defense of its 2024 Commissioner Cup Championship in San Francisco. Seven Western Conference Teams will play a round robin in June, in which the club will be the best record against the former top finisher for the championship of the In-Season Tournament on 1 July.
