Utah HC officials after the mammath mascot leakage

The officials of the Utah Hockey Club refused to confirm whether the team would be known as Utah Mammath after allegedly leaked on Tuesday night.
According to an ESPN report, the name of the team’s official YouTube channel was briefly converted from @utahockeyclub to @utahmammoth. The screenshots taken by fans went viral and later the channel was deactivated.
Utah HC completed its inaugural season in Salt Lake City.
The fans of the Delta Center voted for a new name for the Erizona Koyots franchise transferred this season. Mammath was allegedly one of the three finalists with Utah Outlaw and Status Quo, Utah Hockey Club.
Mike Moughan, an executive officer of the team owner Smith Entertainment Group, told ESPN on Wednesday morning, “The discovery of all the three options selected by our fans as a finalist continues to progress.” “We are fully on track to declare a permanent name and identity before the 25–26 NHL season and are ready to share with our fans when we do.”

League sources told ESPN that Utah HC is likely to reveal its new names and logo before the 2025 NHL draft on 27-28 June.
