J.J. Before the Travellers Championship Spon’s news conference may be the longest on Wednesday, which he has still been sitting since he won the US Open on Sunday.
“It’s very busy, but also very funny,” Spon said, whose dramatic waste-Burdy Finnish won two-stroke on Scotland’s Robert McIntire and his first major championship at the Okmont Country Club in Finnish.
He said, “It is good to give me the opportunity to express my feelings, my feelings. Many people want to hear from me. I was really grateful to get the opportunity to tell everyone about it,” he said. “So I enjoyed it. It was a fun time.”
Spon celebrated on Monday night in New York City with a stopover, where he had dinner with his family, but said he did not get his sleep till Tuesday night.
He received congratulations from several celebrities, including actors and comedians George Lopez and Los Angeles Dojers Star Muki Bates, and Golfing Great Curtis Stranger and Hell Irwin.
The 34 -year -old Spain said that he was eager to pursue his pace in the final signature program of the PGA Tour season, which begins in Cromwell, Con on Thursday.
“Super excited,” he said. “I didn’t find to play here last year. I love this field. I love this course. There is a great course that they are here in TPC River Highlands.
Spain, which had missed the cuts in 2022 and 2023 in the last twice in the last twice, said they are still being used to the idea of being a prominent champion.
“I still have not really enjoyed it and there are no responsibilities,” he said. “It would be nice to sit on my couch at home just and there will be a trophy sitting next to me and see some ‘sportscontle’ or something, but it is like how I like to enjoy things, just this kind of wedging, especially after a long weeks on roads and big tournaments.”
Spanish said that he wants to taste the victory of his success without any self -conscious.
“I certainly need to maintain hunger there. I think I will only have hunger because I want to continue to prove myself, but I do not want to prove myself but myself, I think, and this is my greatest obstruction in my entire career, just not so rigid on myself and is not wasting any kind of confidence that I have created with all these experiences on my journey.”
“As long as I maintain it, I think I will continue to play well, and obviously winning the US Open is going to give a big boost for that kind of internal ego, I think you can say, to live and burn that self-confidence.”
