Under new management, Rockies hit the road to face Rangers

Colorado Rockies Dallas-Fort Worth as heads of the Metroplacks on Monday with Texas Rangers without manager Black Black, who was fired on Monday to open a three-game interlag series.
Black, who was in his ninth year in the rudder in Danver, was relieved of his duties after 9–3 domestic victory over San Diego on Sunday, which snatched the eight-game losing streak. Mike Redmund was also fired as a bench coach.
Black made a mark of 544–690 with Rockies.
Sunday’s victory was the fourth of Colorado in its last 28 competitions.
Rockies owner Dick Monfort said in a statement, “Our drama so far this season is coming in the last two sessions, unacceptable.” “Our fans deserve better, and we are able to do better.
“While we all share the responsibility in this season how these changes have been played this season is necessary.”
The third base coach Warren Shefefer has been named interim manager for the remaining season. Hitting coach Clint Hurdal has been named interim bench coach.
The Rockies will send the mound to the mound to start the series at Arlington, while the Rangers partner will counter the right-handed Tyler Mahal (3–1, 1.48).
The Texas all-star shortstop Corey Seaar’s position is in the air for Monday’s game, when he was sitting out with a perfect hamstring on Sunday. Sear returned from two-game absence on Saturday in Detroit and went to 3-for-4 with double and two domestic runs before being taken out after the seventh innings.
Texas manager Bruce Bocha said about Sear, “We would like to keep Corey there because we know what he adds to the lineup, but he cannot go even for DH (not on Sunday) – DH.” “We will see where we are (with Sear) when we go home. Now, we are just being alert.”
Rangers led the house after winning 6–1 in Detroit on Sunday afternoon, which allowed them to take two out of three in Motor City. Texas overtook Boston and Detroit on its six-market road trip and moved within the 500 game.
Through its first eight beginnings of 2024, and about two years removed from Tommy John Surgery, the range of Mahal after 42 2/3 innings is bound to the second best in MLB earned run average. He played five innings in his most recent outing, allowing two of the four hits-two of them to allow home runs-running on one in a no-to-canon, Rangers lost 6–4 on 7-4 in Boston on 7-4.
The palace is 1–1, which has 5.93 ERAs in five careers, which begins against Rockies. He played 27 1/3 innings and allowed 23 runs (18 earned) on 36 hits while walking out of 22 and walking on seven.
The 23-year-old Dollander was pulled out after just three innings in his recent beginning, with six runs and three walks on five hits, while not recording strikes in a game, Rockies fell 8–6 in 10 innings in 10 innings on 7 May.
Outside the University of Tennessi, the ninth overall pick of 2023 MLB Draft, Dollander has allowed eight domestic runs in its six starts. He has also gone 13 – so he has been his biggest enemy many times.
Dollander will be the first against Rangers on Sunday.
